Welcome to South Africa – Leisure Time at Atlantic Coast
Arrival in Cape Town. After finalizing all border crossing procedures at Cape Town International, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of the tour operator AFRICA LUXE. Transfer from the airport to the hotel, with check-in assistance. Verification of travel schedule and familiarization with your tour program. Leisure time after intercontinental flight in the city at Cape of Good Hope.

Breakfast at a hotel. Our journey to the magnificent Cape of Good Hope takes us along the scenic Atlantic seaboard coastal road. We pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sand and azure blue water. Created by God, the «12 Apostles Peaks» rise above the road on one side, while sheer cliffs and incredible boulders drop into the icy Atlantic Ocean on the other side. There is no doubt that the coast of the Cape Peninsula offers beautiful scenery with unique biodiversity. Our tour continues on to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, which offers wonderful sightseeing and once in a lifetime photo opportunities. This area is home to amazing Protea flowers, many different species of African fauna like the Cape Mountain Zebra and mischievous families of baboons, curious ostriches and jumping antelopes. These creatures may entertain guests enjoying lunch at the restaurant (optional/for own account) which has splendid views of unforgettable False Bay. We visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguins before arriving at the historical naval base of Simonstown, and then heading back home to Cape Town for relaxing evening in Mother City.

Breakfast at a hotel. Meet with your tour guide before setting out on an excursion covering historical Cape Town, voted one of the most beautiful cities in the world. After departing enjoy a coastal drive through the Sea Point area, famous FIFA World Cup 2010 Cape Town Stadium and the magnificent Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Discover the City Centre and Greenmarket Square, walk through the Company Gardens and drive past the Houses of Parliament and the remarkable City Hall, a grand old building of honey-colored limestone. The Castle of Good Hope, colonial era Slave Lodge and brightly painted houses of the Bo Kaap Malay Quarter, provide a wonderful insight into the important history of old and new Cape Town. A fascinating tour at the renowned South African Jewelry Design and Manufacturing Studio opens a door to the secrets of precious stones. You may see the process of diamond cutting, touch real natural stones of different sizes or types of cut, and view hand-crafted masterpieces with diamonds and tanzanite set in white or yellow gold or in platinum. You will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase gifts of eye-catching African jewelry. Finishing a cup of aromatic coffee, we continue uphill to the Table Mountain cable car station. This is the one of the World’s New 7 Wonders of Nature. Breakfast at a hotel. On this magical morning we head to the breathtakingly beautiful Cape Winelands area of South Africa, visiting only the finest wine estates and historical cellars. After a picturesque drive out of the city, our group’s first stop will be at a famous winery for a colorful vineyard tour followed by a delicious wine tasting. Having fully enjoyed and tested different red and white South African wines, we are ready to continue our journey. A luxury bus will make its way to Franschhoek with a photo stop at the Groot Drakenstein Prison from where Nelson Mandela was released more than 30 years ago in February 1990. Soon we approach the fairy-tale village of Franschhoek, nestled amongst emerald green mountains, and easily mistaken for being somewhere in European Switzerland. After a scenic drive through this magical area, a second wine tasting will be offered to our guests, followed by lunch at a country-style restaurant with tasty South African cuisine (optional/for own account). After enjoying an appetizing meal, our Winelands tour continues over the Helshoogte Pass to the old-style town of Stellenbosch. It is easy to understand why the first Governor of the Dutch Cape Colony decided to establish a village in such a beautiful valley. The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, the white gabled colonial era homesteads and the oak lined streets and lanes all blend in to give this place an unforgettable charm. Breakfast at a hotel. Today we take you on a pleasant trip to the Safari park to see and observe the animal world of our exotic continent. A comfortable journey through some of the most beautiful places in South Africa takes our tourists deep into the province. Friendly staff with warm smiles on their faces meet and greet our travelers with a glass of bubbly champagne. The reserve is set in the Cape’s famous fynbos, succulent Karoo and extremely rare Renosterveld vegetation that was once the favorite hunting grounds of the ancient San hunter-gatherers. After a light breakfast and familiarization of the day’s schedule we begin our exciting game drive in search of lions and zebras, rhinos and giraffes or mighty buffalos. Please be watchful – you may see many more interesting animals and colorful birds. Full of happiness after an informative Safari we return to the reception area where we shall be invited to a delicious colonial-style lunch. After a tasty meal we shall have a chance to enjoy the warm swimming pool or relax in luxury under the pleasant African sun. Farewell Day
Breakfast at a hotel. The last day of our exotic vacation in Rainbow Country has arrived. It’s time to pack our luggage and prepare to fly back home. After check-out at our cozy hotel, a quick road transfer takes us to the Cape Town airport. At the international terminal there will be an opportunity for last-minute shopping for exotic souvenirs and African goods, colorful postcards and picturesque travel books. All too soon we hear the boarding call for our intercontinental flight. It’s time to say Farewell to marvelous and unique Africa. We wish you a pleasant flight, dear friends! Looking forward to your return to South Africa for new and unforgettable adventures!
