Arrival in Cape Town. After finalizing all border crossing procedures at Cape Town International, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of the tour operator AFRICA LUXE. Transfer from the airport to the hotel, with check-in assistance. Unpack, freshen up and get ready to discover the scenic beauty and sophistication of Cape Town. In the afternoon the group will enjoy a visit to one of the oldest and renowned wine estates, Constantia Glen. This magnificently appointed wine estate is one of the jewels of the Constantia Valley and Constantiaberg. The estate is the home of South African wine with a proud winemaking history dating back to 1685. Experience the exceptional variety of estate wines while enjoying one of Cape Town’s best views. After the wine tasting you will have a scrumptious lunch at the Constantia Glen Restaurant. Cape Town and the Winelands are veritable foodie paradises. Delicious Breakfast at a hotel. Today, the adventure continues to some of the most beautiful sights of the Atlantic Coast. Our journey to the magnificent Cape of Good Hope takes us along the scenic Atlantic seaboard coastal road. We pass the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sand and azure blue water. Created by God, the «12 Apostles Peaks» rise above the road on one side, while sheer cliffs and incredible boulders drop into the icy Atlantic Ocean on the other side. There is no doubt that the coast of the Cape Peninsula offers beautiful scenery with unique biodiversity. Our tour continues on to the Cape Good Hope Nature Reserve, which offers wonderful sightseeing and once in a lifetime photo opportunities. This area is home to amazing Protea flowers, many different species of African fauna like the Cape Mountain Zebra and mischievous families of baboons, curious ostriches and jumping antelope. These creatures entertain guests enjoying lunch at the famous local seafood restaurant (optional/ for own account) which has splendid views of unforgettable False Bay. We visit Boulders Beach to see the African penguins before arriving at the naval base of Simonstown, and then heading to Cape Town for a relaxing evening in the Mother City.

Delicious Breakfast at a hotel. We have much to experience in our travels today. Meet with your tour guide before setting out on an excursion around historical Cape Town, voted one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Discover the old City Centre and Greenmarket Square, drive past the Company Gardens, the Houses of Parliament and the remarkable City Hall, a grand old building of honey-coloured limestone. A fascinating tour at the renowned South African Jewelry Design and Manufacturing Studio opens a door to the secrets of precious stones. While enjoying a glass of the finest champagne you will see the process of diamond cutting, touch real natural stones of different sizes or types of cut, and view hand-crafted masterpieces with diamonds and tanzanites set in white or yellow gold or in platinum. The lunch will be at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Cape Town’s cuisine is all about fresh, locally sourced ingredients rather than a particular style of cooking – and why not, when it is surrounded by fertile farmlands, and pounded by a bracing Atlantic ocean. In the afternoon we will round off the wine experience at Constantia Wine Pocket and visit the renowned Groot Constantia Wine Estate, established in the late 1600s. The granite soils and steep slopes of the Constantiaberg provide the setting for 100 hectares of vineyards. The pocket’s terroir is suited to both red and white varieties. You will have a chocolate and wine pairing tasting, that will blow your mind and open your eyes to serving the wine with various desserts. After the wine tasting we continue uphill to the Table Mountain lower cable car station. This is one of the World’s New 7 Wonders of Nature. You have the option of admiring the views from the lower cable station or you can purchase a ticket to reach the summit (weather permitting/for own account). After enjoying spectacular sightseeing and taking memorable photos, you will be returned to your hotel for a leisure evening in beautiful Cape Town.
Winelands Region – Simonsberg – Best Wine Estates – Chardonnay – South Africa’s Top Chef
After a delicious breakfast, we check-out from our hotel and depart to the Winelands Region. Today you will experience the Klapmuts – Simondium Pocket. This is the area of the majestic eastern foothills of Simonsberg and the Klein-Drakensteinberg Mountains. You will visit three of the best wine estates and taste of outstanding, top world quality Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Champagne. The lunch (for own account) will be hosted by Richard Carstens, one of South Africa’s Top chefs. Next we drive to your luxurious hotel. After arrival and check- in, unpack and get to know your home for the next couple of days. Nestled at the foot of the magnificent mountains is a small, luxury hotel unlike any other. Where the atmosphere of a bygone era brings a sense of gracious, unhurried living. Overlooking vineyards and mountains, this is the ideal base from which to explore the glory of the Cape Winelands or relax at the pools.

After a scrumptious breakfast we travel to one of the finest wine areas – Franschhoek. This prominent valley is enclosed on three sides by the towering mountains. The climate here is typically Mediterranean here and that is why the best white and rose grape wine varieties are cultivated here. Today you will visit three of the best wine estates and have extensive wine tasting experience. Some say we eat with our eyes, and here too the region offers a feast – vineyard-clad mountains, craggy peaks and delicious food. It is no wonder that the area attracts the most talented chefs, and that Winelands is regularly ranked one of the top culinary capitals of the world. Lunch will be served at one of the estates. Our selection of cuisine focuses predominantly on the exceptional dining to be had, peppered with a few stalwarts favored by locals.
Paarlberg – Best Red Wine – South African Food Experience – Historical Cellars – Scenic Drive
Our 6th day finds us journeying to spend the day in the remarkable Paarl Winelands pocket. The town is situated beneath a large granite outcrop, formed by three domes. Paarlberg (Eng. Pearl rock) has a smooth surface which glistens in the early morning light. This area is famous for its red wine. Red varieties produce a medley of fruit with serious structure and richness in single varietal wines but also in blended wines. You will have an exclusive five senses wine and food experience today. It is devised to strip away some senses and heighten others to show just how you perceive wine, food and flavours using different senses. Farewell Day
Breakfast at a hotel. The last day of our exotic vacation in Rainbow Country has arrived. It’s time to pack our luggage and prepare to fly back home. After check-out at our cozy hotel, a quick road transfer takes us to the Cape Town airport. At the international terminal there will be an opportunity for last-minute shopping for exotic souvenirs and African goods, colorful postcards and picturesque travel books. All too soon we hear the boarding call for our intercontinental flight. It’s time to say Farewell to marvelous and unique Africa. We wish you a pleasant flight, dear friends! Looking forward to your return to South Africa for new and unforgettable adventures!
